so for my birthday i got a little plasma ball held by a 2 headed dragon. i've wanted a plasma ball since i was maybe 8. i've taken to pretending that there's an electricity elemental in there and turning it on channels it for a bit. if i pass by it i'll stop to pet it. it's silly, but fun.

An Old Idea

a while back, i had an idea for a character. well, not really one character, it was a long lineage of wizards spiritually existing in a plane of magic anchored to the mind of their current apprentice. they only ever have the one apprentice, until the apprentice is near death and ready to join the others. then another is chosen, and the last apprentice's soul is ritually severred from their body by the next, killing them and transferring the connection to the collective to their successor.
